[She doesn't meet Vriska's eye; this topic makes her warm and fuzzy but sad at the same time]
Oh, this guy I used to know whom an alternate version of myself killed. Justifiably in that timeline, but no one could ever really process that it didn't matter to me and that I didn't want to track him down for homicidal purposes outside of that context.
[Her shoulders begin to shake with laughter.] Yeah. Yeah, it was him - everyone seemed to think it was because he killed Feferi and Sollux, [he totally killed Sollux, didn't he?] but the truth is that he destroyed the matriorb! I still have mine, though, so I couldn't care less about that now...
[No more shaking.] I have to admit that I miss him in spite of it all, as much if not more than the rest of them... probably only second to you.
[...she hadn't really thought about the implications of what she had said - and honestly that's a tough question because if there's one thing she knows as a troll it's that different people serve different purposes, like apples and oranges or giraffes and crystal meth.]
Well, there's only so much one can really miss an overpowering genocide complex, and none of the other dangerous women with eyepatches I befriended could entirely... replace you. Since we knew each other back when dimensional stability could be taken for granted, it was easier to build bonds and assume they'd last. So, yes.
Neither do I. It's been so long... you eventually stop expecting to see each other again, don't you? After a certain point wigglerhood just seems distant enough to not bother paying such heed.
Who do you miss the most, if anyone, out of our old team?
I doubted you did. [And kinda hoped she didn't... Just - some people, humans especially, seem to think you should just... forget. I'm not sure that's possible, though.

Oh yeah, I heard about that. It was Eridan, right?
[... or was Eridan the one who killed her]
[for the life of her she can't remember]

I don't know how I feel about that.

You know, I think Tavros is one of the only trolls I never saw again after the game.
[And, you know, cutting off his legs.]

Anyway, yeah, I missed the guy. Still do sometimes, actually.

I've been told it's best to let go, but isn't it difficult.

But you're right, it's difficult. Moving on is, I mean. Or knowing whether or not you're supposed to.

[Vriska is slowly sinking into a funk]
Half the time they're not even like you, anyway.
