That's not an easy question. There's a difference, for instance, between most despair-inducing absence and joy-producing presence.

The former is probably Eridan and the latter - actually Haruka Takahashi now that I think of it, but you presumably don't know her and towards the end of her stay I discovered that might not even have been her real name.
