That's what my wish would have been - Exsilium is even populated by monsters of a sort that could have been bred into custodial creatures, it was pretty close to the best case scenario for an Alternian analogue.
We never even got to debating that stage, though. Everyone thought it wasn't a safe enough place to raise the mother grub; every time I tried people would always say it was too risky right now, to wait till later. We get bombed sometimes as part of the war, you see.
